South Kamloops Secondary School boasts a thriving music department, rich in musical tradition. SKSS musicians have represented our community at the local, regional, and nationals levels for many years, with our Jazz Band and Sr. Jazz Combo ensembles receiving Gold standing at MusicFest Canada Nationals in Toronto, Ontario in 2024 and our Sr. Concert Band, Sr. Jazz Band, and Sr, Jazz Combo receiving Gold standing at more recent regional festivals, with invitations to attend MusicFest Canada Nationals for two subsequent years (2025 and 2026). SKSS musicians continue to shine as performers, all the while contributing to our community's cultural life and, at every turn, demonstrating outstanding citizenship.
